Location

Located between Sycamore and DeKalb, the Illinois Regional Cancer Center is on Health Services Drive just west of the intersection of Illinois Route 23 and Bethany Road.

Staff

Radiation Oncologist

Dr. Bharati Bhate
Board certified in Radiation Oncology, Dr. Bhate has directed the treatment team since 1978 providing highly skilled cancer care in Illinois.

Dr. Bhate received her training at Hines VA Hospital and has been the Medical Director at the IRCC since 1993. She received her medical education at Grant Medical College and Sir J.J. Hospital in Bombay, India.

The Treatment Team

At the IRCC, radiation treatments are provided under the direction of Dr. Bharati Bhate, a specialist trained in using radiation to treat cancer. Other staff members include board certified radiation physicists and board certified radiation therapists trained in delivering prescribed amounts of radiation.

Giving

The IRCC has a special Donation Account which is used to help patients purchase certain needed medication which at times they cannot afford to purchase on their own. The funds in this account are donated by former patients, their families and friends. This donation is not tax deductible.
