What Makes Us Different
The fight against cancer begins right here at home.

A cancer diagnosis can be disheartening and scary, and there is nothing more important than the support of your loved ones and the care of experts. The physicians and staff at The Cancer Center at Kishwaukee Community Hospital are here to help you through this difficult journey.

Utilizing the latest technology in diagnosing and treating cancer, The Cancer Center offers comprehensive care, including medical oncology/hematology and radiation oncology services.

The Cancer Center treats a wide range of cancers including breast cancer, ovarian cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, leukemia, lymphoma, and more. We offer genetic counseling and testing, diagnostic testing and treatments, including the most current chemotherapy regimens. The Illinois Regional Cancer Center, located within The Cancer Center, offers progressive treatments including Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), using surgically-placed markers, as well as traditional radiation therapies.

The Cancer Center uses state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging and makes clinical trials available through Loyola without having to travel out of town. We offer cancer support groups, physical therapy, lymphedema therapy, massage therapy, pain management, nutrition services, and cancer prevention programs.
